Brown Rice Pilaf
“Pilaf” refers to rice that is toasted before adding seasoned liquid. Toss in onion, celery, carrot, and garlic for a filling and fluffy side.

Instructions

Melt butter in small saucepan. Add rice and toast for 5 minutes.

Add in onion, celery, carrot, and garlic and cook for 1 minute longer.

Add water and bring to a boil.
